Daniel Santos is a Toronto-based Visual and Digital Artist that specializes in design. He is studying art and design at Humber College's Visual and Digital program. In this program, he studied various photography, figure drawing, digital painting, compositional painting, etc. I am also fluent in a wide variety of digital and traditional art styles that encompass four years of using Adobe tools, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Adobe Premiere Pro. I am schooled in Photographic concepts such as lighting, and other important physical and conceptual ideas, for example, life and death, light and dark, remembrance, and a soldier's pride. I have designed logos for assignments and letterman jacket logo designs for friends. I am experienced in photo editing, both frame, and video animation. I also have a background in editing film and video using Adobe Premiere. I am currently working on a few paintings that combine music and art, which will be shown at Humber College's Art Commins this March.
Within all my artwork, it depends on what is happening in my current life. Ever since I was a small child, I had problems socializing with other people. When completing my works, I focus on the works being able to speak for themselves. Before any piece, I first begin drawing different versions of the central concept that I have in my head, and I look at all of them, then choose the one that best speaks to me. Once I figured out what kind of artist I was, and used 2d shapes combined with gradients to give them a 3D form arranged in a specific format. After discovering this, I found a way for my art to connect with its viewers. After this, I digitally enter it in color and then move to depict it on a canvas. It creates an endless experience with its viewers that could never end the experience with my art.
