The elements I added include the use of a large title composed of a mix of sans-serif and serif fonts, which, when combined, create a clean and visually interesting design that engages the viewer.

The design connects with the overall content of the magazine, particularly Basquiat’s work and the art of graffiti.
I wanted to mirror the way art is displayed in a gallery by presenting the quotes and article title in a similar format, with the body text arranged in a way that reflects the description of artwork in an art gallery setting.

After printing the layout for the first time, I didn’t notice anything specifically wrong with the design. In fact, I found it much more visually appealing in print than on screen, as the physical layout felt more engaging and aesthetically pleasing.
